21 Sep Christmas Food Walking Tours in Cambridge
Christmas is the time to be merry and for a foodie to pull out all the plugs. Sometimes months of preparation and planning goes into this. With so many new places opening up in Cambridge, it might be a challenge to find the right places to shop and if you want an easy Christmas, where to dine out? We at the Cambridge Food Tour are mad about food and track down every new place, which opens in Cambridge. We are one of the first ones to check them out, review them and if they’re good then we include them on our Food Walking Tours so we can share these amazing foodie places with you.
One of the best preparations for a foodie Christmas is, without doubt, to join us on one of our Food Walking Tours. Accompanied by a local foodie guide of the Cambridge Food Tour, you’ll explore parts of Cambridge many visitors never get to see. Even sometimes unknown to locals. Meet the shopkeepers or market traders, sample delicious food and enjoy time out with fellow foodies.

Special edition Taste Cambridge on 2 December 2017
Every year on the first Saturday of December, the most cosmopolitan street of Cambridge, Mill Road, is closed off to traffic. The street is lined with food stalls during the Mill Road Winter Fair, you can watch parades and shop on the Christmas market for fresh produce for Christmas. We have included this event on our Taste Cambridge that day. On a 3.5-hour Food Walking Tour, we will take you from the hustle and bustle of central Cambridge to the charming, eclectic and cosmopolitan back roads and even meet local brewers. A colourful array of local Cambridge delicacies, exceptional British food and international treats will excite your taste buds and these, combined with interesting stories about food, the food scene and the colleges, will leave you having enjoyed a fantastic experience of, as Delicious Magazine UK called it, ‘a city peppered with international cuisine’.
