Food, Garden and Produce Festival

Cambridge Food, Garden and Produce Festival – The 2013 Cambridge Food, Garden & Produce Festival was the 5th festival held in Cambridge. The festival is normally held around on the weekend around the 15th of September, which coincides with the start of British Food Fortnight.

Oakley Fairs is the team behind the Cambridge  Food, Garden and Produce Festival. They also organise the annual Town & Country Show in June. You can expect a lot of food here, it is a true celebration of local food with an amazing array of Cambridge Chefs from local restaurants. Get a taste from their culinary skills from watching them cooking up their signature dishes to cook-offs and Ask-the-Experts panels and not to forget there will be a lot of tasters from food to local beers and ciders.

Show organiser Emma Owen, director of Oakleigh Fairs, said: “A lot of people are concerned about food miles and traceability these days and more and more and more people are turning to growing our own food wherever possible – and of course it’s cheaper. We hope this event will once again showcase all that is great about growing your own.”

With arts, crafts and gifts marquees as well as lifestyle stalls and a fantastic food hall there is always something for everyone.
