The Duke of Cambridge

What’s in the name? – Smooth, rich and delicious…. Do you know why this delicious biscuit is called the Duke of Cambridge?

Duke of Cambridge

For the wedding William and Kate (Catherine), who are the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, in addition to the main wedding cake, Prince William had his favourite cake: the chocolate biscuit cake the palace chefs had made for him as a child.  The chef released the recipe after the wedding and that’s the recipe Fitzbillies uses for this delightful biscuit.

That’s why….

Unfortunately, this delightful biscuit isn’t always available as they have to make a big tray of them. I can highly recommend buying one if you do spot ‘The Duke of Cambridge ‘ as it is rather delicious.

The Duke of Cambridge is only available at Fitzbillies.

Enjoy!
